IN THE SHOP: 718 GT4 Clubsport Up Close and Personal

SOUL had the pleasure of receiving two brand new 718 GT4 Clubsports direct from Porsche on behalf of a client of ours. It was not only an honor, but a luxury which allowed us to evaluate the underpinnings and exhaust system. I thought it might be nice to highlight some of the finer details of these fine machines with my camera – enjoy! Right at home with our 981, 987.1, and 986 race exhaust development cars! An escape hatch! May it never be needed. A few more details on the exterior: Carbon fiber? Nay, flax and hemp! Kudos to Porsche for implementing natural-fiber composites into their projects. This material can also be found in the beautiful light weight door skins. The doors themselves are so light they prompted a “wait what?” response from anyone who operated them. Moving inside you’re treated to well bolstered Recaros which hug in all the right places which should make long durations in them quite comfortable. Last, but most important – the instruction manual.
