Unlike older vacuum-actuated exhaust systems that operate primarily in an open-or-closed configuration, the 992.2 Turbo S utilizes electronically controlled exhaust valves that continuously adjust their position based on engine operation, load, and driving conditions to meet the strict European sound and emissions regulations that have made their way stateside. Even under full throttle application in Sport mode the valves will still not stay open 100% of the time. Muffler bypass pipes are a surefire way to get great sound all the time with your right foot controlling volume.

Construction wise, the factory mufflers are cleverly engineered out of titanium. SOUL is wary of the durability of titanium in high horsepower, aggressive use applications and the 992.2 Turbo S is capable of delivering immediate, brutal performance with the T-Hybrid system. SOUL prioritizes long-term durability and material integrity and as such our muffler options are crafted from 304 / 316L stainless steel to offer confident durability for enthusiasts and record chasers alike.

Exiting the downpipe section, exhaust gases flow through 3″ piping designed to maximize overall length within the tight confines of the engine compartment. The system terminates into SOUL 3D metal-printed exhaust tips, meticulously designed to align with the bumper’s fixed tip outlets for a seamless, integrated appearance. The muffler bypass pipes are secondarily mounted to the factory exhaust bracket to minimize unwanted vibration and NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness) for further refinement.

SOUL Muffler Bypass Pipes are compatible with SOUL downpipe sections, OEM downpipe, or systems with downpipe outlets that connect like factory.

Back purged TIG welding (with ARCAL™ Prime argon gas) ensures proper weld penetration for exceptional strength and longevity

Fabricated using thick-gauge aluminum fixtures that act as a heat sink during the welding process to prevent any warpage

BOLT-ON AND GO

Every muffler bypass pipe undergoes rigorous quality control and is fixture-tested to guarantee precise fitment. After passing QC, each Turbo S component is carefully foam-packed to ensure it arrives in perfect condition. Valve delete modules are included to prevent any check engine lights from removal of the valves in the factory mufflers.
