Description

DEVELOPMENT:  The 958 Cayenne comes with two sets of catalytic converters from the factory for a total of four restrictive units – upgrading them is a common, cost effective modification. Our goal was to provide a cost effective upgrade while incorporating quality wherever possible. The OEM pipes were first scanned with a ROMER arm, and a bend profile was developed to produce smooth, large radius bends from thick US sourced T304L stainless steel – mandrel bent to strict ISO 9001:2015 quality standards.  You’ll be treated to a fuller exhaust sound without a significant increase in drone. Throttle response and overall drivability is increased.

CONSTRUCTION:  Each set is assembled out of 2.5″ OD, thick-wall .065″ T304L stainless steel and rigorously quality checked in-house. Every cat bypass pipe is built from smooth mandrel bends, thick water-jet cut flanges, and laser cut brackets. Back purged welds ensure proper penetration and overall product longevity. The final pipes are tested in a fixture to ensure perfect fitment and then foam packed to ensure they arrive in perfect condition. New hardware is included for the header flanges.

LIFETIME WARRANTY:  Enjoy your SOUL exhaust parts with confidence on both the street and track as they are covered by our Lifetime Warranty! Our team will quickly work with you to resolve any issues or answer any questions that you may have.

CHECK ENGINE LIGHT?:  This product should not trigger a check engine light as the secondary catalytic converters are unmonitored by the ECU.

NOTE:  This product is not CARB certified and may not be legal for use on emissions controlled vehicles; intended for off road use only

I purchased and installed the Soul secondary cat bypass pipes on my 2011 Cayenne Turbo 2 weeks ago and I am very pleased with the result. The exhaust now sounds a little deeper and throatier than it did stock. When in park and revved you can slightly hear the turbos spool. Still very quiet inside the cab, just a little more rumble than before and no drone. When accelerating quickly in sport mode it even has a nice upshift note that it didn’t have prior, similar to the PDK

I Installed the Soul bypass pipes as well on my 2013 CS.

The fabrication quality on these is masterful to say the least.

Sounds wise, on the NA V8 motor with the standard exhuast system, there is a very slight increase in sound in the cabin, zero drone in the cabin.

Most noticeable thing though, the throttle response is a helluva lot better. Drives way smoother.

Recently purchased and installed a Secondary Cat Bypass from Soul Performance for my cayenne s v8. Ive had it on my car for a little over a week now and can really recommend this to anyone who wants a little more sound out of your car while actually seeing a nice improvement in the throttle response. Overall i am extremely impressed in the quality of the work from the team at soul and the customer service is excellent. Thanks again guys!

    Hi John,

Got my Secondary bypass pipes today. I had everything off & waiting for FedEx. Install was 20 minutes. Once again, I’m amazed how everything fit perfectly. Thank You. This is all subjective of course, but the Turbo’s seem to spool up quicker & the car seems to have a little more Giddy-Yup!

Installed these yesterday on my 958.1 turbo. Install was really easy with the exception of the upper passenger side bolt – some PB blaster and a wire brush helped considerably. Dropping the subframe was not required.

The sound is just what I was looking for. It has a little more presence and rumble, but is far from obnoxious. No drone or annoyance at any rpm, and no funky smell. I would imagine you get some more volume when used on the naturally aspirated variants of this car.

I highly recommend these pipes for the 958. Soul is making a lot of great products and John is a pleasure to talk with. These guys deserve all the success they are having!
