DEVELOPMENT AND TESTING: The factory headers were designed to be easy and cheap to manufacture while also conforming to the performance killing emissions standards of the market. The stock headers use cheap pressed flanges, squashed primary tubing, generic collectors and massive catalytic converters – all robbing your high performance Porsche of the sound and performance it deserves. By smoothing the interface between the flange/primary tubes, using smooth radius large diameter bends, and implementing a performance oriented collector with merge spikes, we have been able to achieve increased flow, response, and performance with a more aggressive exhaust note to match.
CONSTRUCTION: Each set is assembled in house in the USA out of mandrel bent, thick wall .065″” T304L stainless steel. Back purged TIG welding (with ARCAL™ Prime argon gas) ensures proper weld penetration and longevity – crucial for durability on the track. Water jet cut flanges are made to ISO 9001:2015 standards with tolerances of +/- 0.003 inches for extreme precision. We fabricate these headers using thick gauge aluminum fixtures which act as a great heat sink during the welding process and prevent warping not only of our products, but the fixtures themselves to ensure perfect fitment.
