Description
DEVELOPMENT AND TESTING: By creating a unique application for the 981 platform, we’ve focused on sizing the runners (2”) and collectors correctly to extract maximum power from the 3.4L engine while producing great gains from the 2.7L as well.
DYNO RESULTS: A 981 Cayman S with SOUL Valved Exhaust, intake, and ECU tune added Competition Headers and IPD plenum and GT3 throttle body for comparison. Comparing the average performing run of both sessions shows gains of 26 whp (303->329) and 24 ft-lbs of torque (276->300).
CONSTRUCTION: Our precision engineered headers are meticulously fabricated from T304L stainless steel. Proven design elements including port matched flanges, smooth radius primary tubing, and collectors that optimize the exhaust flow all work in conjunction to maximize power gains. Every set is rigorously quality-checked prior to shipping.
BOLT ON AND GO: Each exhaust is tested in a fixture to ensure perfect fitment and then foam packed to arrive in perfect condition. Thorough installation instructions are included in the box for a straightforward install that can be performed by most DIY enthusiasts. New high grade hardware is included.
CHECK ENGINE LIGHT?: This product may trigger a check engine light due to removal of factory catalytic converters. O2 Spacers are available to reduce any chances of triggering a CEL. We suggest a custom ECU tune to disable any check engine lights (for track use only).
LIFETIME WARRANTY: Enjoy your SOUL exhaust components with confidence on both the street and track as they are covered by our Lifetime Warranty! Our team will quickly work with you to resolve any issues or answer any questions that you may have.
NOTES
+ This product is not CARB certified and may not be legal for use on emissions controlled vehicles; intended for off road use only due to removal of factory catalytic converters

I drive a 2016 Porsche Cayman S. I have always been heavy into modifying everything I own, The Cayman is no exception. Immediately I was intoxicated with the sound of the PSE exhaust from the factory yet I knew that would not last long. Within 2 months of having the car I ordered Fabspeed Catless Headers. Installing these was nothing short of “frustrating”. Nothing seemed to fit and align like factory. I ended up having to create my own thin socket on the lathe in order to reach several bolts into the head. a 5″ bolt and nut was required to force alignment of the fabspeed kit to the factory PSE. When it was finally done…It sounded incredible. So loud and So aggressive. I was hooked. Dyno numbers for this system on a mustang dyno were 315 Whp and 275 tq with other supporting mods and CB tuning/ Euro Dynamics Tune. I drove the car like this for several months.
Fast forward to April, I was contacted by Soul Performance and propositioned with replacing my current exhaust system for their full LONG TUBE headers and valved exhuast. I was happy with my set up so why would I change? Well I was intrigued by the idea of more exhaust allowing for some more usable power. Also upon seeing their product and quality control I knew they were going to be a serious contender to the market. I wanted in and agreed. I dropped my car off for less than a week while they test fit and installed the exhaust. I didn’t expect much in terms of sound nor power pick up being i already had a full catless set up….I was BLOWN AWAY when i picked the 3.4 Cayman up. It sounded like a GT3, like a Porsche should sound! Power, Respect, and Deep noted. I fell in love all over again. I could not stop manual shifting the car just to hear the backfires and gurgles. I took the long way home that day.
Several days later on the same exact tune, at the same shop as before, and almost identical weather aside from a few degrees hotter (78 vs 69 the last test) I dyno’d the car once again. 326 whp and 287 tq!!! from an exhaust change. Those gains are no joke and it is felt through out the entire rev range. If I was purchasing an exhaust for a Porsche again. I would not look anywhere else but Soul Performance. I went in not expecting much and left with an exceedingly good experience. The finish resembles titanium, and the badass sound have gotten me nothing but compliments and thumbs up everywhere I go. Please see photos and video for an idea of sound but these do not even do justice. I Highly Recommend SOUL PERFORMANCE.

I was searching for headers and it took me a while to narrow it down between another brand and Soul performance. When Mike introduced me to their catless headers with a video clip, I immediately made up my mind and got the Soul performance catless headers. I’m heavy into modifying my car. The headers sounds amazing and brutal. Check out my IG for clips @AWelburn24 if you want to be sure that this is the route you want to go. I definitely recommend it. Thanks mike for the headers! The installation is also not complicating at all! Very simple. Save your money and do it yourself. As long as you know your tools you’ll be fine!

I have Soul catless headers on my 2013 BS with stock Porsche PSE. Sound is freakin’ amazing, sounds like an exotic sports car now. I can easily scare small woodland creatures (and people!) in Sport and Sport+ modes with the PSE engaged, especially on the overrun pops. Sounds like gunfire. I have a Cobb tune and though set for “modified exhaust”, I am running an OTS (off the shelf) tune that does not assume catless headers. I’ve been told I really need to have the car custom-tuned to take full advantage of having no cats in the exhaust system. So…I DO smell exhaust when car is running and stationary. I have the top lowered most of the time, so I do smell the exhaust at stop lights, but when moving, no issue at all. One of these days I’m going to bite the bullet on a custom tune, though am contemplating a couple of more mods first before going through the custom tune expense.

I installed my headers on Wed night. They sound glorious. I took it to the track on Thursday for Track Night at AMP and it sound awesome. I have PSE and left it open for the track day. I kept being told I was the loudest car on the track that day, so just prepared. With the PSE closed, it doesn’t seem to have any drone or be much louder than a factory exhaust system with PSE.

Every question answered upfront prior to purchase and the parts arrived flawlessly packaged, zero damage. Step by step instructions included – impossible to f up this installation. The car went from tame/soccer mom noise to proper Porsche exhaust notes. Beautiful sound. I’ve been very happy with everything from the customer service to the quality of parts delivered.
