Porsche 991.1 Carrera OEM Header Gasket Set

Optional genuine OEM replacement gaskets to replace your old or worn gaskets.

DEVELOPMENT AND TESTING:  The factory headers on the 911 were designed to be easy and cheap to manufacture while also conforming to the performance killing emissions standards of the market. The stock headers use cheap pressed flanges, squashed primary tubing, generic collectors and massive catalytic converters – all robbing your Carrera of the sound and performance it deserves. By smoothing the interface between the flange/primary tubes, using smooth radius large diameter bends, and implementing a performance oriented collector with equal inputs from each primary, we have been able to achieve increased flow, response, and performance. Long tube runners and a premium collector design ensure the best possible performance and longevity.

We also worked with RR Racing to offer a catless header solution to pair with their Supercharger Kit for the best possible durability and sound experience.

CONSTRUCTION:  Our precision engineered headers are meticulously fabricated from T304L stainless steel. Proven design elements including port matched flanges, smooth radius primary tubing, and collectors that optimize the exhaust flow all work in conjunction to maximize power gains. Every set is rigorously quality-checked prior to shipping and then foam packed to ensure your order arrives in perfect condition.

CHECK ENGINE LIGHT?:  This product may trigger a check engine light due to removal of factory catalytic converters. O2 Spacers are available to reduce any chances of triggering a CEL. We suggest a custom ECU tune to disable any check engine lights (for track use only).

BOLT ON AND GO:  Each product is tested in a fixture to ensure perfect fitment. Thorough installation instructions are included in the box for a straightforward install that can be performed by most DIY enthusiasts.

LIFETIME WARRANTY:  Enjoy your SOUL exhaust components with confidence on both the street and track as they are covered by our Lifetime Warranty! Our team will quickly work with you to resolve any issues or answer any questions that you may have.

+  This product is not CARB certified and may not be legal for use on emissions controlled vehicles; intended for off road / competition use only due to removal of factory catalytic converters
+  United States based customers purchasing this product are required to sign our Catless Exhaust Component Waiver here.

I purchased a 2014 991.1 with 14k miles about a year ago. I immediately purchased and installed the PSE, and loved it. I then purchased a slightly used set of Soul catless headers from a forum member that were refurbished by Soul. The headers were immaculate. Had them installed, then had the car dyno tuned via Cobb stage 2. The sound is unbelievable when the valves are open, and nice and quiet when closed.

The car can be loud when you want, and quiet when you want…all with zero…and I mean zero drone. I previously came from a CTSV that was heavily modded pushing around 750 HP, which also had a full exhaust (headers and back), and I was adamant about not having drone, which the borla “no drone” mufflers provided.

Anyway, the PSE with the stock functiionality via the buttons coupled with the Soul catless is one of the best sounding exhausts IMO. When open at idle, almost sounds V8’ish

I’ve been meaning to post a review of my car, as I also went with the RR supercharger kit and made a handful of other mods around the same time. I’ve had the supercharger on my 991 S for about 9 months (I was the 2nd customer after tempus fugit, and first customer with a manual transmission). Overall, same thoughts as above, the extra power is perfect and has truly transformed the car, makes for an epic combination with the manual transmission and catless Soul exhaust. Prior to the SC, I was not overly thrilled with the car and was planning on trading-in for something that was a bit more hardcore and with more power. Now, those thoughts of trading-in are gone. The power and overall level of intensity and perfect for the street, if feels like how the 991 should have come from the factory. The power delivery is still NA-like, and builds and builds with the revs, but still provides plenty of thrust at the lower RPMs, manageable level of power with the grip that these 991s have. The stage 2 kit is tempting, but I think the power now is perfect for my uses, but I’ll likely go with it later this year (why not!). I haven’t taken the car to the track, but I know Rafi (the developer) has many times. I’m not particularly concerned about longevity of the engine or transmission, I think the additional strain the supercharger puts on the drivetrain is modest and well within the limits, and I tend to drive responsibly.
